In March 2016 the Inaugural Nic Roldan's Sunset Polo & White Party to benefit Brooke USA took place at the Wanderers Club, Wellington, FL hosted by Mark and Katherine Bellissimo.  Brooke USA is the official American fundraising arm of Brooke – the world’s largest international equine welfare charity.  This chic gathering was timed perfectly to coincide with the end of the Winter Equestrian Festival and saw members of the showing, dressage and polo communities attend as well as non equestrians, a variable who’s who of the Palm Beach scene.

Ki Juan Minors kicked off the event with a performance as the VIP cabanas and pool area filled.  A thrilling polo game took place where the teams were a mix of top professionals and up and coming players, Roldan led the Brooke USA Grey team to a 6-5 victory over Brooke USA Orange.  Mini horses & donkey’s made their way around the venue to gather donations and the silent auction proved popular.  Nic gave a passionate speech about the cause followed by some choice items being sold during a live auction.  The Argentine asado was enjoyed by all and the beats of DJ Adam Lipson went on late into the night.  Almost 600 people attended the event and over $140,000 was raised.
