CHARITY SUPPORT

Sunset Polo International supports a variety of charities that Nic, Grant and Natascha feel personally connected with.  Find out more about the current supported charities below.

KIDS CANCER FOUNDATION

The grace, joy and enthusiasm for life of numerous exceptional boys and girls battling against cancer have inspired Sunset Polo International to particularly support the Wellington based charity Kids Cancer Foundation, for which Nic is an Ambassador.

Sunset Polo International feels blessed having the opportunity to interact with some of these most beautiful, loving, strong and admiral kids battling with something that restricts them from simply being kids.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide in their community hope and support to children & families battling childhood cancer and/or blood disorders.

They educate families about their child’s diagnosis and treatment and provide the emotional, financial and spiritual support the child and their family need throughout their journey

THE POLO TRAINING FOUNDATION

The Polo Training Foundation (PTF) is dedicated to the future of polo in America. Both Grant and Nic grew up playing PTF events and are keen to give back to a sport that we all love.

• Since 1967 the PTF teaches youth confidence, discipline, hard work and leadership through the sport

of polo.

• The PTF offers a wide-range of programs. Including clinics, umpire training, Florida junior polo, Florida youth polo, junior polo grant, Eldorado junior polo, exchange programs, polo college fairs, and academic scholarships.

WINDWALKERS

WindWalkers is a magical place where horses and caring professionals offer a variety of equine-assisted therapies to aid in the development and growth of those with challenges, be they physical, neurological, emotional, behavioral, or psychological. Our services impact not only people living with challenges, but our community as a whole. A place where you will see miracles happen every moment of every day.

WindWalkers Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy Center (“WindWalkers”) began with exactly 2 clients and only 1 horse. We now serve over 100 clients weekly with 24 equine therapy horses along with many specialized groups who include at-risk teens, students with Significant Identifiable Emotional Disabilities (SIED), development delays, autistic, TBI’s, PTSD, to list a few. Since inception, WindWalkers can proudly boast providing 62,000+ service hours -“butts in the saddle and boots on the ground” as we like to say – to over 9,200 “unique” individuals.

WindWalkers is where horses and caring professionals help families and individuals with challenges from Aspen to Rifle to grow and thrive! Our service area includes 3 counties (Garfield, Pitkin, and Eagle), 1+ towns and a population of over 130,000.

At our core is a unique family-centric approach that strongly recognizes that one’s challenge does not affect the individual only it equally impacts every member of their family and the community at-large.
